Hi to all you skin geeks as I am a hair and nail geek but could do with a bit of skin advice for myself ....I have been very lucky not to have suffered with many spots even when I was a teenager, I'm 41 now !!!!

I had a blind spot? ages ago on my chin that just came up and went leaving a little lump under the skin but last Monday I started getting a sore lump on my chin I thought I was going to have a very big squeezy spot but it just got bigger and bigger and very sore I went to docs and she thought it might be an infected cyst ? and gave me antibiotics which I have taken, the spot has gone down slightly but is still sore and I can now feel another coming up next to it, It sort of feels like a swollen tunnel from one spot to the other !?

What is going on ?! I would be grateful for any advice as People are going to start mistaking me for Bruce Forsyth soon if I'm not careful !

anyone ??? its really sore ! x

Hi hun. I know the spots you mean. DON'T squeeze it as it will scar. I know it's hard not to. I would say leave it alone.don't even touch it. If it doesn't get fiddled with it will dry up and go away. The one next to it has probably spread from the other one from your fiddling.
Cleanse tone and moisturise as usual and try not to use any oily products on there. If you go onto a site called Australian body care, they sell tea tree oil (the best you will get and the only one you will find that tells you the % of tea tree in it).
Dab that on it a few times a day as it has antibacterial properties that kill infection. Then if you have some over there's loads of stuff you can use it for. It keeps away gnats in the summer if you dab a few drops on & good for kids at school if there is head lice going about!
