I aint no expert but have you clicked on something to convert it to HTML code only?

I must have Theresa, but heck knows how I done it.
I was highlighting some words, pressed delete, and it went all funny.

Do you upload it yourself to the net? You could download the one from the net back to your computer.

I havent studied the HTML code in great detail but you need an open code and a close code as in < quote> and then a </ quote>. The strange things I noticed were the last codes are < p/> which means close the paragraph but the / should be before the p and not after it. Not sure that would cause this though.

In future when making changes, do a back up copy first so you always have the original LOL.

I've typed it over again as couldn't work out what I had done.
I think I could go back and find a different copy saved but don't know how to do it tbh.
so I've retyped it.

thanks

OMG! I can't believe you've just done it!
I had just figured out where your coding had gone wrong....i obviously need to work a bit quicker!!!!

Glad you've got it sorted! xx

Yes hun, that would cause a problem as HTML relies on correct open and closure signs. < p >(no spaces in between the letters) opens a new paragraph and (again no spaces inbetwn the letters) < /p > tells the coding that this is the end of the text that is inserted in the paragraph, get it the wrong way round or leave somethng out and HTML just go's what????? and you find all your written stuff in coded language and not in web format. I learned this the hard way lol........ It is so hard to find the one typo that changs it all...

Glad its all sorted now xxx
