Help need to buy samples for freebies

Hay all,

I have been renting a room in a hair salon for the past 4 months.
Looking to do offer on manicures/pedicures looking to purchase at a low cost mini files, moituriser, cuticle oil little items as an add to give away free when booking nails next month.

Anyone done anything similar?

Where did you get the sample bits to give away?

Is it worth doing ?

Does anyone have any other ideas that may also be effective?

I bought the little body moisturisers from sweet squared as a little free giveaway for next months offers, we are doing this with every shellac manicure. Lots of companies do mini versions of their popular products, like the solar oil (pinkies size), don't give too much away as your clients will expect it, but it is nice to do this from time to time. Get in touch with the companies you work with and see if they will give you anything free, its worth a try!:hug:

At my previous spa, we always sent them home with the file we used and the nail polish they chose.

The latter can get a tad pricey however I know they have OPI minis and such now. If you only do it for a month, it shouldn't be too bad.

I'm not sure if you do nail art, but you could always promo a free upservice of nail art for the month. rhinestones are cheap. they're mostly just paying for the work anyways.

Just had this idea as I was reading your thread - How about getting some little business cards made up from maybe vistaprint (as they are so cheap) with "FREE UPGRADE TO A LUXURY MANICURE/ PEDICURE WITH ANY STANDARD MANI/PEDI BOOKED"
or with any free add-on treatment. This will only coast you 10 mins of your time & a few pence in oil or cream.
It will also encourage clients to come back (esp if there is an expiry date to use by)
