Hiya,

Can anyone help out with tips on photographing my finished nails - just got my prints and cd rom back from the developers and I am very disappointed :( with the results - especially with the glittery tip acylics (thought they would look fab on film - but pictures really do not do them justice!) I cant see any nail art very well on them either!

Any tips at all would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Deana.

Hi,
I have found that when taking pictures of nails and nail art, It is best to shoot the pictures close up in natural light :D
Because if taken under lights you can get a reflection off the nails and this prevents the designs showing up clearly. :?
Hope this help ?

Firstly, you need to be sure your camera is up to the job in the first place!
I was told that you need a camera with more than 3 mega-pixels - and a macro lens for nails.
Shame, I would have liked to have seen your pics.
