Perhaps you are not pressing the product down as hard on your wrong hand ?? I find it very hard doing my own :|

Yep Id go with Lell, and maybe you are touching the cuticle area and side walls with product?
It is hard to do your own nails and not be a little cackhanded!

When doing my wrong hand, I keep the product quite a way from the cuticle area and side walls, just to make sure that I get no lifting!

I get lifting on my wrong hand aswell hun, so dont think its just you!

xxxxxx:hug:

Poppits solved MY problem hun,i can get more pressure than i can with my brush  hth's x

yep they have been my saviour for my 'wrong' hand too, just couldn't get the product application 100% with my brush, it was always the same finger with me !!

but if the lifting is on her wrong hand, then she is doing the work with her good hand. so if anything it should be better than the other hand.

or am i not understanding correctly ??

I think lelli has hit the nail on the head here,
lots of peeps have this problem, you need to apply more pressure when applying your product

ahhh! yep yep.. think thats it! would make sense.. thanks so much for makin the obvious.. obvious to me! i tend to get frustrated with myself when it comes to my wrong hand so perhaps i need to slow down and pay more attention..
i have my pressure down pat with my good hand.. but my wrong hand it just feels wierd!
thanks guys.. hugs lell..

i thinks its a IFYKWIM thing.. can be taken both ways.. but i mean when applying product with my wrong hand.. to my working hand.. :irked:.. im confusing myself.. easily done..

Also, I find it harder to finish file with my wrong hand so the side walls and cuticle area isn't so flush as it could be.

From another thread about bonding....pressing is more about removing air and shaping the nail than actually creating the bond between the product and the natural nail, which threw me at the time as it went against what I had been previously taught about primerless systems.

oh sorry, i obviously think differently to all the others

in that case then id say pressure too.

Definitely pressure.

With my wrong hand, I kind of point, press and hope!
