I don't know those so cant say much about them at all,
i would travel a little further afield to the finger tip centre, i think it is edinburgh, Fiona teaches for CND from this academy and has an excellent reputation,
for more details you can ring 0845 210 6060, hth
Not sure about Entity, but I used Tammy Taylor whilst in college. I'm sure the product is just fine, but you have to etch the nails with a 100 grit file to remove shine before you apply the product, six months on and my own nails are still trying to recover. I would not use sandpaper of that grit on my skirtingboards in my house, so can't understand the need for them to recommend it on nails! I've just completed my L&P & brisa conversion courses in Edinburgh with CND and have to say they were absolutely fab, well worth the 8 hour drive I had to get there and back! I know when we start out in this industry we all think we can do the cheapest or most convenient course and be just as good as any other nail tech, but I learned the hard way that you really should research all products available and then make your decision on who you want to train with and not just on who is cheapest or local to you. HTH.
Hi There, we are The Fingertips Centre, training academy for CND in Scotland. If you would like me to send out some information for you please don't hesitiate to PM me.
i was an entity user for a good while and was delighted with the products.
it was the very best training i have had too though mine was done in the usa.
Natalieabdn here on site runs the Nail & Beauty Academy in Aberdeen.
You could Pm her for some more information or give her a call, she is lovely and will be only to happy to answer your questions.
Get as much information from all your options and weigh up the pro's and cons of each before you commit your time, effort and of course money
OOh err Susan....trained in the USA .....get you lol!!!!
I trained at the Nail & Beauty Academy with Entity products - and I learned SO much in my course, all my clients are very happy with their nails and the products are fab to use
I can't speak for any of the others but i definitly would give Entity top marks
that looks good, nsi have a good reputation.
i would ask for a full description of the nail courses so that you can be sure to make an informed comparison.
DO NOT use Tammy Taylor in Aberdeen, been there, done that and bore the lower bank balance and bad taste in my mouth to last me long enough.
The product itself is fine, but the woman in Aberdeen is a cheat. There is a thread I started about it under "I want my money back" that'll tell you a story about that woman. I also got a few pm's saying the same thing, so I wasnt alone.
Good luck with your training, there are a lot of good companies out there, and I do wonder if I had widened my horizons I may not have got stung.
I work for myself now, and am building up a client base, so TT did not put me off, just take your time and dont jump in.
Best Wishes
