Can anyone offer any advice on working with Brisa Coloured Gels.

We have experienced problems when we have tried sculpting with them as the gel doesn't seem to set when mixed with white sculpting gel.

Also when we have applied the colour over a french enhancement, there seems to be incompatibility in the products as the colour seems to "flake" away. Any ideas or suggestions welcome!

When you are working with coloured Brisa, you have to remember that you must do very thin layers, so that the UV light can cure them. Add as many layers as you want, as long as you cure each and every one of them for 2 minutes before puting on the next one.

Now, about the flaking, I've never experienced that. Could you describe the steps you follow? It would be easier for us to help you that way...

I have the Brisa colour gels and have none of the problems you describe.

Are you using Brisa gels (apart from the colour)?

Are you using a Brisa Lamp and do the bulbs need changing?

When you say applying over a french enhancement, are you ensuring that you are either applying to a previous layer of cured gel (unwiped) or a surface that has been finished with a 180 abrasive ?
