Help with Eyelashes

I bought some MAC Duo adhesive to use with my cluster lashes as people had advised on here. I tried it out on my friend today but i've had a few problems!!
By the time she got home about 3 of them had fallen off, the only thing we can think of is that she jogged home and it was a bit windy - could this have made them come off? Also she said the glue had stayed white when it is supposed to dry clear.
Any idea's on anything I may have done wrong? I have never done any since I did my training early last year (it wasn't very intense it was just included with a Tinting and Perming course)

It sounds like you may have used too much glue,did you wait for it to go tacky before applying the lashes?Did you hold the cluster lashes in places for a while so they were fully attached?Were the lashes totally free of make up/mascara and did you or the client use an oily remover?(this would have stopped the adhesive from working properly)

Thanks for that...she def didn't have any make up on. But I did just dip straight into the glue then attach and only lightly pressed them on so that may have been the problem. I will give it another go and try what you suggested, thanks x

Hi ya I use duo all the time and its a really good glue even though only lasts until you wash your face. You can get a waterproof version but again it only lasts until you take your makeup off. But it is best to use it when its takky and the glue turns clear when it is dry. Sometimes it takes a while to dry. If its not drying properly the glue might be faulty MAC are great at changing products if you dont like them or they are faulty. Hope this helps. x
