Hi all I am having a bit of trouble with nail forms at the moment I have got nsi and cnd ones some are great and some I have trouble with seepage underneath I have just given up out of 10 nails I only got 6 with no seepage underneath god it gets u down doesn't it when it all goes wrong lol been practising as much as possible tonight as I wont have time tomorrow doing my mums nails and she has had a stroke so one hand takes me nearly an hour due to her having not much use with it at the moment plus the fingers just auto curl back but once this hand is done the rest is easy. So is there any advise you can give me so I can use forms without seepage I was thinking of brushing a little oil underneath the tip edge then hopefully this will stop it from sticking if it does seep under the from.:cry:

Any help much appreciated..:hug::)

Are you getting the seepage due to the shape of the form not being right?

You can tailor forms for a perfect fit. Remove the centre, cut out the backing, fit the form (whilst still on the backing paper) to see where it needs to be tailored, then cut/trim to size.

hth's a bit

Hiya Thanx for replying will try that going to have a practise tomorrow.
This is what I have been doing I slide the form on then stick together underneath, while puting the acrylic on push up from underneath so it is flush with the nail, I think on some I may be working a bit to wet so do you think that could be causing the seepage, got all day tomorrow while daughter is at school so will practise practise and practise lol :)

try opening the knuckle end of the form and then pinching the tabs at the end of the form together before you place it on the finger. i find it fits up more snugly when i do this. also make sure you are using the little circular part to reinforce the underside of the form so that its nice and strong.

use a slightly drier ratio so that product cant run under the form and allow the product to settle for the count of 3 before begining to press the product carefully with your brush so that you dont disturb the form fit when you apply. allowing the product to firm up slightly will help prevent it squirting under the natural nail when you begin to press it out.

Once you have your form under the free edge try and ease it up flush to the free edge one side at a time.Dont stick the edges of the form together until it is flush with the free edge. Also i wouldnt use the oil as this may cause your form to slip.

Hi Thanx for all reply's will let you know how I get on tomorrow after my practise tomorrow fingers crossed. :)
