Help with French gel manicure

Hi everyone,
How would you clean up the white “smile” after painting it?
I apply my base, cure, apply colour of choice, cure, apply white. After that can you use nail cleanser with a brush or is it alcohol or anything else?

I use a striping brush to make the smile line instead of painting it on and then cleaning up...but, if you would rather clean it up, use a stiff brush with a small amount (very small amount) of IPA (alcohol) and then finish with top coat.

**Edit- obviously cure white after applying, and then top coat and cure
