Hey so one of my clients is looking at going a bluey grey I've never done any grey before, I've tryed wella 10.0 with a bit of 22.0 on a blonde weft but that was more like slate grey so looking fit people opinions on what I'd best to use. Also do you find it washes out really quickly ? I will attach pic of the clients hair and the pic she has sent me any help would be really appreciated

10.88 wella works for me every time xx

I used colorissimo 8.1 on this as a toner, 2nd attempt grabbed and we got it to stay fairly good looking for a whole cm of regrowth it does fade but not as much as others have the 2 pics here are the same hair in different lights, I'd describe it as a bluey grey in real life

Decided to go a bit darker than I or finally posted

I would use igora 8-81 & blonde me steel blue 1/2 & 1/2. Using a purple shampoo after every wash would help with the fading & help keep the colour x

Most grey shades rinse and wash super quickly. A couple weeks really since they're so sheer in depth generally. It's a good conversation to have with your client prior, so you can avoid any "redo's" on refreshing the tone when she thinks it fades so fast...when in actuality, grey shades fade fast regardless! Also, Pravana's silver is a blue-based silver/grey that's beautiful, but could be softened with a clear, or made a deeper violet/blue by adding a bit of clear and violet! And will, again, fade rather quickly.

Yeah I'm afraid it does fade quickly but you can't really avoid this, I usually recommend a toner after 4 weeks depending on the porosity of the hair x
