help with lifting please

i qualified as a nail tech las year and just started renting a table in a hair salon of a saturday but everyones nails i do either weekend or gel the tips are lifting and coming off so spend half my time re doing clients for free i am preping correctly as i have checked with my college notes when i practice on my own nails there fine i dont know weather i am over blending can anyone help me please i feel like giving it up im so frigtened and nervous now when i get clients :cry:
