Help with qualifications needed to become a mobile nail tech

Hi Geeks
I am looking to start my own bussiness as a nail technician ( home visits)
what qualification do i need etc , and where is the best place to get equipment ,
help needed!!!

You can train at college or train with the product companies,
this is one with one of the best reputations around,

i wouldn't worry about any equipment until you have some training booked, hth :hug:

hi, there are courses u can do, the first one is nail treatment which covers maicures and pedicures plus your health and safety. then when u complete that you can go onto nail tech which covers artifial nails (uv gel, fibreglass and acrylic's) then u could even do the nail art course.. there is a cataloge you can order from called salon direct it sells everything u need from towels, machines, polishes, bags, nail exentions etc.

hello.... i started cnd's foundation course last year which cost quite a bit!! this gave me the basic knowledge of liquid and powder acrylic nail enhancements... form that its just lots and lots of practice.... till you become confident and happy with your work.

I am looking into doing a conversion course with nsi... another company. just so i have the back ground knowledge of two companies products as theya re all different.

I am also looking into nail art course, manicure and pedicure course too!

Like already said, you can contact the companies direct to do a course with them, and you can do conversion courses to go with other companies and use their products. Or you can do a course at college too. Just make sure whatever course you do, you will be fully qualified at the end and able to get insurance xx
