Can i pick any Vani-t users brains?
I've been using the 8% for a while now and i must say it's a lovely colour and the fade is amazing.
My question is about their 12% and Velocity.
I usually us Tantrick 12% and have regular clients that like it with some intensity drops added, is the Vani-t 12% a red tone or gold tone? How does it compare to Tantrick?
The other thing is Velocity i've been tanned using it a couple of times first time i rinsed it off after 1hrs 30mins (i've blonde hair, blue eyes) the colour was lighter than an 8% when fully developed. The 2nd time i left it 3hrs 30mins, the colour was about a 8/10%. When the guide colur was rinsed off there wasn't even a knicker line ( no different to my usual white skin!!) i took over 24hrs to fully develop .
Is this right?
How many hrs should it be left for a 12%?
Would it be normal to still be white after showering?
I was hoping to market it as a last minute tan but if there is no tan for 24hrs that's not going to work .

The 12% is the same colour as the 8%, just darker. Sorry, haven't tried tantrick to compare.

I find that after 2hrs (8%), 3hrs (10%) and 4hrs (was on too long for me but probably about the 12%). I had some colour when rinsed off - definitely a knickerline.
My understanding is that the Velocity doesn't develop any faster than the other solutions, it is just that it can be washed off faster, meaning you don't have to wait 8hrs.

How many hrs should it be left for a 12%?
It is recommended to leave on for 4hrs for the dark tan, but I have a couple of clients who leave it on overnight and love it. They have previously used 12% and say they prefer the velocity.

Would it be normal to still be white after showering?
There should be a bit of colour when showering.

I was hoping to market it as a last minute tan but if there is no tan for 24hrs that's not going to work .
If someone wanted a last minute tan, they culd be tanned at say 3pm, wash off at 5 or 6pm, put on make up, go out and the tan will develop while they are out. With normal solutions they wouldn't be able to shower until 11pm. The tan should be pretty much fully developed after 8hrs as with normal tans, but all tans can take upto 24hrs to fully develop.

I hope I have managed to help a little. Any other questions, just ask.

To be honest, any solution you use will still leave a tan when washed off after 3 1/2 hours!
It's best to leave a tan on for the recommended 8 hours to get the best possible colour .....but.........you will still get a colour when you wash it off after 4 hours.
I've tried it and i still tan after 2 hours! Ok it's not as dark as if i'd left it on for 8 hours, but i definitely tan.
I think these express tans are just gimmicky and expensive!
Try it with your normal tan-you'll be surprised!

Thanks for the feedback.
I've got 3 tans tomorrow night with the 12% so fingers crossed it's not too dark or too light.
I'm still unsure about the velocity, i have a 1ltr bottle so i need to get moving on it.
Have you tried the Bronzing Custard, really nice my tan was still getting compliments 2 weeks after being applied.

Once you get used to the velocity you will love it. I haven't had any clients who have tried it, go back to the other ones. Although I have clients who love the LS so much that they won't try the velocity.
Everyone is different and looking for different things. I find it is handy if people want legs darker etc as they can wash off legs later than rest of body.
Yeah the bronzing custard is fab, I have sold quite a few of them. I mainly just use it on my face as in this weather that is all that is generally seen lol xx

Good luck with the tans tomorrow x

i love the velocity tan and so do my clients. i have found i have better results if i apply a little more product than with liquid sun. But if your unsure call them i have found there reps great.
I hope this has helped x

I tried the velocity and left it on 2 hrs it was a lovely color and it is fading great too x

Hi there.

i am wanting to offer my clients the Vani-t professional spray tan but dont know where to find out about it & what the costs are for the 1 litre bottles etc.
I use Tantrick & Tandare at the moment & i'm happy with them but would like to try something new.

Thanks
