Hey Guys im quite new to this. I have a colour issue which I'm unsure about and was hoping someone would help me. My client has a natural depth of 4/0 and uses wella koleston perfect to retouch and cover her greys and takes the colour to her mind lengths. She now wants a full head application and colour it to a 6/0. I was thinking high lift tint using wella special blonde 12/0? Any advise?

Hey, I believe you will need to strip the colour out with bleach first, as tint won't lift tint, even high lift tint. Use bleach with a med peroxide as lifting it slowly will get a cleaner lift than using a high peroxide and doing it too quick, once you have lifted the colour out you can then cover with a 6 line, you may need to add a cooler tone in depending on how warm the hair lifts from the base 4.

Yes tint won't lift tint, so you will need lightener or a colour remover
