Hi guy

How do you allow your staff to take there holidays

I used to have to take 1 week in spring 2 weeks in summer 1 week in winter and the rest were able to be used as single days throughout the year

how do you guys do it? and also how many saturdays can your staff take per year?

I just have my amount of days and can take them when i want as long as we can get cover so have to put them in quite awhile before. Although because i work on a holiday park and obveously holiday seasons are busy we are asked not to take any over the summer months. Alot of the time i just use the off couple of days rather than full weeks as there are only three of us so having lots of time off mean the other two workin 7 days a week. xx

We're only allowed 4 Saturdays a year and no time off in December. But the amount of holiday time we get depends on obviously how much we work. So being full time we get about 28 days, roughly :S but as we don't work Mondays our bank holidays are added onto the holiday time. Except like Good Friday and other salon closures. It's hard rationing your Saturdays :(

so if you dont work mondays you get 28 days plus however many bank holidays there are a year? I used to work in a salon and we were closed mondays and since we wernt open on a monday any way we used to have the bank holidays included already in our 28 days?
