just wondering about bank holidays if a bank holiday falls on your day off should you get a day owed an hows does jubliee bank holiday work this year x

I have always had bank hols off or been given an extra day the week of the bank hol if my day off has been a Monday the jubilee will be different as its an extra bank hol and it depends what your contract says if it say your entitled to 8 bank holidays then your boss doesn't have to give you it but if it just says bank holidays then yes your entitled to it. Hope that helps.

It depends on your contract. Mine say 28 days including all bank hols, so if a bank hol falls on a day off, that day has not been used. If there is an extra bank hol, you use an extra day of your holiday.
