Hello to everyone,
I've been reading through all your posts and you are such a lovely bunch. It's great that you're all so generous with your advice so I hoped some of you could help me.

I'm about to take the plunge and change career (my only other posting is giving advice re tax so guess what I used to do)!!

Anyway, I'm about to take a training course on individual lash extensions but can't decide between Hollywood or Glam lashes.

I've read all the posts and the main difference seems to be the glues. However, as I've not used anything like this before I can't decide which one is best.

I would be really interested to hear from anyone who has used both brands to see if one is better that the other - or is it just down to personal preference?

This is such a great forum. Big hug to everyone who takes the time to post.

Hi,
I think a lot of it is personal preference i spent a lot of time looking around and deciding which eyelash company to go with and ended up with Glam lashes i didnt do my training with them but i get all my products from them and find them great, the glue is great to work with and they always get the products out to me quickly, personally i had a bad experiance with hollywood lashes but im very happy with the glam lash products and service.

As far as I am aware Glam Lash used to use the Hollywood Lash Glue, but then changed to FlexiLash as they felt it was a much better glue, so I would definitely recommend Glam Lash.
I trained with them in Glasgow and really enjoyed the course xxx

Brilliant! Thank you both so much. I was actually veering towards Glam Lashes so you have just helped me with that final little push I needed to decide.
:D

Hope you enjoy your training! :)

Hi Elli, you will love the training with Glamlash, I did and everyone I know that trained with them speaks very highly of them to.
I had a great days training and thier aftercare has been fantastic, they are always at hand if you have any questions or are worried about anything. Thier products are fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Hi Elliebee
I'm in the same boat as you, change of direction from office work
I've read a lot of info on all types of lashes and finally decided on Glam Lash
I done my training on Sunday just gone and it was ace, I trained with Mags, she was brilliant, I really enjoyed it.
I got home and ordered my treatment couch, I'm soooo excited.
Good luck and all the best in your new venture

Thanks Girls,
It's a daunting thought - going into something new, but I'm very excited!

This forum is so great. I've read through loads of threads and the help and support you give each other is amazing!

You never know, maybe I'll eventually be able to give advice in the distant future (other than the boring Income Tax advice I posted the other day)! LOL
