Hollywood Toes - questions!

Hi Guys
I do NSI Acrylic Nails at moment and am trying to branch out with some nail art, glitter tips and also Hollywood toes.
Not had a go at nail art or glitter tips yet!!
I've purchased Hollywood Toes Kit from NSI. All items are for gel nails so I'm thinking as I do acrylics the only item I will use from kit is the white gel for the tip? Can you use the nailpure sanitize & deyhdrate product with acrylics?
Do I just prepare toe nails as per finger nails for applying acrylics and use a pink (any advice on which pink looks nice?) overlay. Then use a brush to apply the white gel across tips over the pink acrylic overlay (how do I clean said brush - acetone?). Then do I then apply Balance Finish Clear and cure to finish?

At what point would I put on a nail jewel or paint on nail art? before I brush the Finish Clear & Cure over and cure?

Sorry - feel really stupid but want to get steps correct and do them properly - have found the kit confusing!!!

I think it would be a good idea to do the hollywood toes course that nsi do, also i think acrylic is not a good idea for toes, why not use the gel instead as you dont need the strength of acrylic for toes, good luck hun

Hi Noo,

Please dont take this the wrong way, but have you actually done any NSI training? I ask because if you had, you would know which products you need to use with which system.

L&P (acrylic) and gel are very different systems, and you need to be taught how to use them both individually. NSI do a hollywood toes course which isnt too expensive.

My advise would be to call NSI and invest in some training before you start using these products.

the reason I am confused is because it states on instructions:

''extend nail using Balance Gels or any NSI Acrylic System''

Cleanse the nail

Apply Brush-on Radiant White Gel

Cure

Apply Balance Finish Clear

THEREFORE, it's mixing products from acylics and gel? That's why I was asking for confirmation.

I'm quite aware of what products to use for doing set of L&P nails which is what I have trained in but didn't think you could use L&P products and Gel products on nails together.

I have answered the above questions the best I can.
Yes you can use gel over L&P and vice versa, but unless you are proficient in both systems, you will not be aware how to use the products correctly.
I strongly recommend you learn how to use the gel properly instead of relying on an instruction leaflet.
