Home Salon - Spare Room

Hi. I am thinking about opening a small salon using my spare room. 2 workstations and 1 basin. Do I need planning permission being as it is inside the house and no exterior adjustments are to be made? Do I need any council permission or neighbours approval? Do I need to get it checked/inspected/approved? Please help! Thank you in advance. Tania.

hey yes you need to check with the council, as when i bought my house we were told that we can use it to have a business. I thought it tottally random at the time, but if you are planning that then you really need to check....
