Is tis a good treatment and does this treatment actually work???i was thinking of taking up a course...

I did the course with Babtac last year and have done a few treatments but its not a big earner for me.

If I did more holistic work then I think I would promote it more, and possibly gain the clients from the treatment

I did it because there had been alot of talk about it and I thought I would keep up with what was happening I would say that you would have to bear in mind the clients you want to attract and of course it will depend on their frame of mind. My clients found it gave them relief......

i do them on myself and my family without the massage side of it, so basically just the cleansing of the ears, and everyone comments on how much better it feels straight after. personally if ur in the beauty or holistic side i think its a good one to expand with ur skills

I have had this treatment done and can say I got relief from it, so I would say it works for me..x

Brilliant treatment, really works and I've had some great results, although its not widely known about. Doctors, in my opinion, are very sceptical and only promote syringing.

Its not a huge money earner, the candles are quite expensive unless brought in bulk and I can go long periods without anyone.

I love having it done and I love doing the treatment too, I usually do an aromatherapy facial with it. I have had some great feedback, and they keep coming back (altho it is just family and friends at the mo)

I do quite alot of these. People seem to like it and say it works! Its good to always be learning anyway. Go for it!

I think its a great treatment, and I am showing a couple of my son's friends mums how to do the treatment as they suffer from glue ear.

I think it is a lovely treatment and i have many requests for it.I am not qualified in it so i just do friends and family.They buy the candles i hold them in and i give them a head,face and shoulder massage.
Ive never had anything but positive feedback.

Lovely, relaxing treatment.............and it works.
I attended a 1 day course on 11th October in Newport - during the training we received 2 treatments each!!!!
I suffer really badly with excessive wax (lovely!!) which causes popping and hearing probs but since the 11th my hearing and ears have been perfect.....................I'm even in the middle of a cold at the moment and for once I'm not suffering with my ears.
I now have 3 case studies to complete and an essay and will them receive my certificate (hopefully!!) .............. I just can't wait to begin treating clients, I'm already telling all of my regulars that the treatment will be available in the New Year and singing its praises. New Year, New Ears!!!!:lol:
