I am now starting as a mobile therapist and i am going to be doing hot stone therapy as one of my holistic treatments. I am used to doing hot stone in the salon but am trying to think of the best way to transport the stones from place to place whilst keeping them hot. If anyone has any experience in this or has any ideas i would be gratefu; for your help. Thanks :)

i think if the first thing you do is sort stone heater with hot water then sort your couch by the time you'v set up and done consultation it will be ready to use

I'm not mobile, but a few times I've forgotten to put the heater on & do as Kelly K says. Use hot water, but not boiling as you don't want to crack them through sudden heat change, and by the time you have put the couch up, run through the consultation & done a little manual massage to spread the oil & assess the state of the underlying tissues they will be hot enough.

Hi I mobile and I heat my stones up at home in the heater, take them out ant wrap in a towel then place the towel in a travel cool bag which keep them hot enough to put in water the other end without a lot of heating

I do the same, heat them up at home, wrap in a towel and make sure i set it up at clients house before i do anything else, then they are heated up enough by the time you are ready to use them.
