How can I keep nail gems sparkling?!!

HI. Any advice on applying nail gems? Nail glue or nail art sealer? Any way i try, the gem just loses its sparkle once I put finish gel/glaze and go on:cry:

make sure you dont put anything over the gem, it dulls the facets and the light can no longer reflect off it so easily and thats what reduces the sparkle.
always choose swarovski crystal for maximum sparkle as acrlic gems do not have the same reflective properties. apply your gem with nail glue and then seal ROUND IT with topcoat or sealer gel.

Another way which i use and have had no problems with...

Once you have the glaze n go on place your gem onto that and then cure under the light, as its curing its sealing around the gem and it stays in place.

Make sure you buy good quality gems too mate...the few extra pence DOES make a difference x
