How can you avoid friction burns to the nail plate when removing tips?
 
I'm not sure I understand the question, but if you mean your clients are experiencing a burning sensation when you file their extensions then you need to move your abrasive more often, you are filing for too long in one spot.

It's also about filing technique, you dont need to file fast and create heat to remove product, it's about file placement and correct angle and pressure
 
If you're soaking them off (using acetone), you're probably not soaking for long enough. You shouldn't need to force it off or file that much. Only a high grit file to remove the very last bits x
