How do you do yours?

hey geeks,
ok so summer is right around the corner (i hope ) and what i want to know is how you'll mostly be wearing your nails throughout the nice weather, fingers and toes. i'm guessing theres going to be alot of minx out there.
so heres my questions;

• colour or french? what colours do you like at the moment?
• what shape are you rocking this summer?
• are you going to have art?
• sparkle?

i have mine square and painted in opi 'party in my cabana' with flicks on ring finger and thumb in yellow and white with a bit of gold sparkle. my toes aren't done yet but im thinking dark for my toes with a white flower on my big toes

At the moment i have a L&P funky french on my fingers with hot pink tips and a shimmer all over, and on my toes i have CND polish Passionfruit poppy with some nail art on my big toes but i'm doing some training on thursday with the new Brisa colour gels so i'll be testing that out on my toes next week - and everyone else who is willing!

This summer I am going to be showing off my Hollywood toes get them promoted make sure people notice them and then hopefully book in

With my finger nails i wont be wearing nail extensions just as i find it hard to work with them on. I will be wearing either Minx silver or Natural nail overlay.

I have Silver Minx Toes at the mo and will prob keep something similar on over summer, They Sparkle loads in the sun and are really eye catching. On my fingers I am changing them every fortnight at the mo as I am just learning L&P and can't make up my mind what to have, I will settle on something soon, maybe coloured or glitter tips with some art..... Got me thinking now......

Me too, Its french Brisa Gel toes for me too - always wear my diamonte flip flops when working.. so the sparkly bits draw their eyes to my feet & then they notice my toes TEE HEE :twisted: works everytime.. Then I tell them they can be diff colours, glitter, gems etc..

My fingernails are L & P (competition white tips).. I can hear the gasps of white tip haters am rubbish at doing my own smile lines... however they look gr8 on me & I get lots of compliments..

I have almond shaped nails with a custom color on the nailbed, and my tips is a sheer (se through?) purple color with bluish greenish glitter in it. I might add some art, 3d flowers or such later on...

im very boring when it comes to my feet...i just have french acrylic toes. my nails are a mixture of nail art...i had neon pink tips with love heart nail canes a few weeks ago, at the mo they are a mixture of neon pink, neon green and neon orange with fruit nail canes...havent decided on my next design lol. either way my nails are quite long (they are handy for typing in my evening job-very bad i know) and i like them square. i tend to find the longer i have my nails, the more people notice them!! xx

At the moment my poor toes are naked :smack:
but when the flip flops come out they will be wearing glitter gels all summer, different colours as and when i get fed up of looking at them or to match the god knows how many pairs of flip flops i will buy this summer lol,
my finger nails are always long stiletto's with lots of art and change every month or so,
and i don't wear the same design twice lol,
i have a 40th party to go to in may so i have to come up with a design for then,
the theme is black and white so that will be a bit demure for my nails lol :lol:

thanks for yor replies geeks, may do p&w l&p on my toes but have a massive bruise on my foot at moment, an ikea related injury involving a flat pack chest of drawers and my foot oops, hopfeully be able to wear flip flops soon but just look awful.

love the idea of neon pink, orange and green!!!!

Isn't the pink plaid fab, I had that on a wee while ago and loved it. I am wearing the funky design minx on mine at the moment, and because it's been good weather here, I have managed to wear my flip flops so have had even more requests for minx toes. :green:

I'm wearing natural tips and overlay on my fingers and painting them to go with what im wearing lol, today is a pinky orange colour! On my toes i am wearing twinkle toes in a beautiful sky blue glitter, i love them and have had many compliments and 2 bookings from seeing mine!

We are coming into Winter here in NZ so I am currently wearing my nails sculptured natural tip and opaque neutral pink, buffed but not to a high shine. Somedays I put cnd Negligee over the top. Nice and simple for the season.

Here the summer is coming (hopefully) and I can really see the change in clients nails - everyone loves a little splash of colour or glitter, at the moment I´m almost out of stock of baby pink, deep pink and turquoise glitters. These seem to be the hot colours this spring. During summer I bet there will be yellow and green to be seen - especially now that they go fabulously with lime, lemon and orange slices... :green:

I just changed to an almond shaped pastel violet french manicure done with Brisa bolds and sprinkled some glitter on top. They´re lovely!
My toes atm have nothing on them but as soon as I have time, I´ll put something very sparkly on them...

everyone lieks them and is aking who done them...but how boring?! and they are a mega short round shape...hate them hate them hate them!

for summer (i.e next week!) im going to order frooties, and have lemon and lime nails! possibly more almondy.....or full out square!

I have gel overlays on toes no.18(calgel),and on fingers it is just pink and white overlays,almond shape,i do not do sqaure...

i find if they are square....even mega short, i always catch the corners on things! maybe it is just me...
