How do you prefer to be employed? wage/rent chair/percentage?

Hi,

I run a beauty salon and looking at opening another, in the new one there is room for hair.
What are the different ways you guys work, anything like mine below?
If so can you help me with the figures? or tell me your own scenario?

- Employed? What is a normal basic wage?

- Self employed? How would you expect to rent a chair in the front of a salon?

- Self employed? You pay no rent to the salon but give a percentage of all your taking? What would that percentage be?
