Hi guys n girls :)

I think I've placed this query in the right section!

I was just wondering how long it took you before you made your foundation course money back once you started? I'm looking at the CND foundation course which is £500 or thereabouts, so just wondering really.

Thanks in advance

Sarah. xx

That would depend on how many sets u do, how much you charge etc ....

Think it would be different for everyone

That really doesnt help much, sorry, but good luck with the CND course mine is excellent xx

It took me about 18 months before I made back the cost of both my course and the additional products and kit I needed. It seemed that just as I started bringing money in I needed to buy something else!!

hth's

There is rather a lot to buy,In addition to the kit. its actualy £650, thats what I paid last month anyway. It does depend on how many sets though, bit difficult to say. good luck!

Thanks for your replies girls :)

I did have a hunch that it would be different for everyone but it's always nice to hear of other peoples experiences.

Shellpink & Vetty, what other things do you need to buy then? Don't you get it with the course costs?

Thanks again and sorry for the questions!

Sarah. xx

From memory you have enough in your kit to cover about 40 sets which will probably be what you do over the 6 week period of your training. You need to replace your products as you use them. You will also need towels, something to keep all your kit in, tips, polishes etc etc.

Well worth it though

You will need to stock up at 'the shop', be careful because you can get carried away & it can get very expensive, you will need to buy extra tips, adhesive, scrubfresh, product remover, brush case etc

The list can be endless so just be aware, buy what you need, not what you want lol

Good luck though, its the best thing I ever did xx

Thanks again girls :)

I didn't realise! At least I know to budget for extras now !

ugh itll take me awhile. its $3800 for my course, $500 in gas money, around $100 in supplies...

...so maybe never before i earn it back? lol

8 months

That made back the course money, all advertising, 3000 leaflets and all my set up products. I was pretty pleased with that. hth x

I did the cnd foundation don't forget its + vat
then I did a beginners nail art
Then a sculpting technics
Then a 121 sculpting conversion day with nsi
Plus all the products along the way
end of year books for year 2 I made about a £100 profit, which is pretty dam good for any business you normally look to make a profit in year 3.
My understanding is that the cnd course no longer includes a nail trainer so if I were you I would budget for one because I still use mine, and so do most geeks, every time we have an idea for something new, every time we have a break and get back into it every time we try a new product, expensive but well worth the money.

have tryed the new products by buttmonkey... there excellenet, very good quallity if I say so myself
