HI all

Can i ask u all how long it should take to do a full leg wax and a bikini? I trained awhile ago in waxing and have been doing the odd eyebrow and shoulder wax but today i had a client booked in for a full leg wax and bikini and it took me just under two hours and i am feeling this was a tad to long? PLease could u let me know how long is classed as the norm. xx

Hi hun.
I usually take about 40 mins to do a full leg and bikini. But I do quite a lot of waxing so my speed has picked up.
I was so slow in the beginning and it would take me ages. It's completely normal if you haven't had much practice at it. It just means you have to practice some more.
Have you thought about getting a roller wax system? They are so much quicker and you will do it in no time xxx

hi,
normally takes me about 45 mins todo full leg + bikkini wax. i work full time tho so ive had loads off practise ! u get better and quicker the more u do ! try not to worry ! x

My beautician takes about 30 mins but she has been doing it for 10 years!
I probably take about 50 mins but that's because i haven't been doing it for 10 years!

I book out 45mintues for this treatment

Beauty Therapist Angelina not Beautician lol xxx

Collins dictionary- beautician-a beautician is a person whose job is giving people beauty treatments

Doesn't have beauty therapist in there!
What's the difference then?
I like beautician-sounds better and rolls of the tongue easier :)

A beautician is the person you get working behind a make-up counter in Boots. They have had hardly any training. Where as a beauty therapist has to go through a hell of a lot of training, as you know.
Sorry, just a pet hate of mine. Beauty Therapist sounds much better than Beautician. xxx

we get an hour for full leg and bikini, sometimes it doesn't take as long but everyone is differnt.

An hour?! Thats alot
Should be about 45 minutes.

Dont worry hun, the more waxing treatments you do, the faster you will get. Still, its better to make sure that you do a good job than a rushed one with broken hairs all over the place!

Hi Hun,
Full leg and bikini about 45 mins for me.........I use the roller wax system for the legs, hot wax for bikini.
It took me 45 mins last week for ½ legs roller and hot wax underarms, but she was a big girl, so had much bigger legs. All vary and your time will pick up with experience.
Best of luck.
Lotsa luv x   x

45 mins without rushing. Try to break it down into each lower leg, then upper leg then bikini and try to improve on your times with each wax you do. xxx

Ps. I trained a lovely lady yesterday who told me she was taking 40 mins. By the end of the morning, she was taking only a few minutes for each lower front and each lower back of the legs. You'll get there, just don't give up. xxx

Do you do all the front ie full leg front then bikini then turn? or full leg, turn back of leg, turn then bikini?
Ok 1st one sounds better, Im now worrying as it has been a while for me too, and im just starting to brush up on my NVQ's.lol

Sorry to take this off course a bit - I got a wax last night and was told as part of my aftercare "no sex for 24 hours"...never heard this before and they certainly didn't mention it at college  Is she right?

:) Funny not heard of that one ever, was not taught that at college either, it's probably just not getting too hot, I advise no hot showers! Maybe thats the sort of thing she was getting at:lol:.

It's never stopped me!

Not had any adverse reactionsyet!

In intimate waxing this is quite often given as after care advise for obvious reasons.

No Sex!!

Well i was not told that at collage!!! i dont thing that could be right!! but i would also be intrested on what others have to say about it... can you imagine telling one of your mature clients no sex!! i would die of embarrassment !!!

As for the waxing are you using a roller system, if not i would think about getting one, it will cut your waxing time down and there is no mess, very easy, i use hive but there are others, i take about 40 min for full leg and bikini.

Just a thought!!

Good luck let us know how you get on!
