Hi
just wanted a bit of advise on how long acrylics should be left on for?
Also how long a period would you leave in between to redo acrylics?
I have heard lots of conflicting info re this and wondered if anyone could help.

Thanks

Shelley:)

You can have coatings left on your nails - FOREVER!!! You should be rebalancing the 'said' coating, after 2-3 weeks - 1 week for a cannibal, 2 weeks for most clients and 3 for those who really love, nurture and look after their nails!!

Natural nails are better off with a coating - no matter which system - even if it is just an enamel coating!! Providing you are doing your job correctly, the nails - after full-sets or rebalances should be perfection!! No need to let you nails go through a period of not wearing anything, it makes no difference at all!! ;)

Thanks for that

I do rebalancing every 2-3 weeks at the mo
but wasn't if was best to say have 3 months wear then leave them off or not.

I've just soaked a clients nails off and she was really pleased with the nail underneath and nail growth, Which i was really pleased about, some acrylic was left on the nail but i didn't want to file down to the nail plate and ruin it.

Thanks again

Shelley:)
