Hi guys

Just wanted to know if any of you use two different spray tan systems in your salon, or mobile.

If so which brands do you use.

I was thinking of using Fake Bake and Sienna x so my clients have got a choice, as ive been told as long as I clean the gun out properly there is not reason why I car,nt use the same gun,,

This way it will give me a wider choice for my clients.

Whats your opinion on this please :)

I used to offer 2 but now I only offer 1.....

I made this descion because I was fed up with clients wanting one colour then another and it not being what they excpected.

Also, I didnt find it very cost effective...I also had to store and travel with different solutions(im mobile) and when you are doing a party and someone says..oh I think I will try that one.

I had no problem with solutions through my Iwota and my tantrick machine but some solutions are thicker

I use xen tan now...one solution for all...suits me down to the ground and my clients are really happy with the result every time

Do you mean different spray tan machines or solutions from different companies?

I use solutions from different companies as occasionally clients prefer one over another. I know of some that also use different machines too.

hi oey

The thread was for using two different solutions, car,nt afford to buy two machines.

I was going to go with Fake Bake and Sienna x noone uses Sienna x in my area so would be different choice for clients

hi,

i use 2 diff solutions, tantrick & suntana. Tantrick r great but clients like to suntana cos the solutions smell devine. I'm mobile but always take both types of solutions with me, also suntana do not do 5% but tantrick do. I think its nice to give clients a choice and its a bonus if no one else in your area is offering sienna x.

hope this helps

Many spray tan operators use more than one solution type...its good if you can offer your customers a choice..particularly if one of the brands you like is not well represented in your local area.

This is also a good means test to see which solution the vast majority of your customers like...

There is no problem whatsoever running two solutions through the same gun...simply spray through with water when you need to change over.

HTH and good luck

I only use one brand (naturasun) it has so many different shades that i feel my clients have enough choice. the solouyion doesnt have a long shelf life so i dont think its a good idea to carry to much stock unless your extremely busy.

I have done the same with Tantrick. I tried so many different samples, but they had such a wide range (5, 8, 10, 12% as well as EOS and AG) that all tastes are catered for.

Hi ive just done my training in spray tanning and ive bought a iwata compressor and tantrick solution and none of it seem's to show up, ive even tried the 12% i dont know what ive been doing wrong or do you think it's a bad batch of solution. Its definately going on the skin ok and im definately putting enough on as im using half a bottle at a time at least, or have i not done something when setting up my compressor. Also which company and what percentage and price are you getting suntana for, ill be grateful for any advice. Nicky xxx

Hi Nicky - I'm not familiar with the Iwata but If you send Colin from Tantrick a private message (he's a member of this forum) i'm sure he'll be able to help you set up your compressor right. Thier solutions are very good so i'm sure that isnt the problem.

With regards to prices for Suntana, you can find these on our web site - Click here. Meanwhile if you need any further information please feel free to contact me

I also use two solutions. I use both Sienna and Tantrick, I prefer Tantrick but I do have a call for Sienna, so thought it was best to stock both. I do try and convert people over to Tantrick though.

mine is celebrity secrets and sienna x, i tend to use celebrity secrets quiet a lot as people prefer it, but for weddings i alway give sienna x as a choice unless they do want to look dark then its the other solution. I am getting a lot of clients through word of mouth because they love the colour, looks natural and its not orange. good luck :)
