how much do you charge for mobile???
ive been doing beauty for 5 years been in a salon 4 years and have been charging next to nothing for mobile clients(college prices!!) a full set with me in the salon i currently work for is £45.00! i use all the same products at home, o.p.i, jessica, dermalogica, fake bake, backscratchers!! only the best its costing me in petrol and products and i travel to them on my only day off, sundays !!
ive just put prices up to around £20 for full set .
£10 infills.
brows £5.
file and pol £5.
full tan £15.
i STILL tink im too cheap ! should i up my prices???
thanks everyone ! xxxx

Damm right you should put them up!

MAke sure you are registered with the inland revenue too and check that you are covered with insurance.

OMG you are way too cheap,
i work in a salon but if i did mobile i would charge more,
They don't have to leave their house so can be there for any dependants or to answer the phone or take any deliveries etc..
if they want you to trail to them make them pay for it i say,
if you weigh up the costs of running a salon against running a mobile biz i don't think there would be much difference in cost if you are all above board

Hi! Yes, you should definately be upping your prices, especially now you have 5 years experience behind you.

Why don't you try getting some price lists for other mobile therapists in the area to get an idea of their prices?

Fuel, vehicle wear ant tear, product cost and more importantly your TIME dictates that you should and MUST double your full set and infill prices immediately.

You should also consider your other prices, you will find lots of advice if you search mobile costs/prices/

Hi you should def put your prices up, Sometimes being too cheap goes against you! Most clients still think you get what you pay for. They think the cheaper the treatment the less experienced or less trained the technician is! Dont undersell yourself
Good luck x
