How much spray tan should I be using?

just wondering how much tan you roughly use per client. I think I'm using far too much. thanks x

on my sienna training we were told around 50mls, but when you first start it could be more. i've only done 2 spray tans so not really bothered with what i am using, i'm jus wanting to get to know the routine before i start worrying about other things lol x

I've just trained with Nouvatan and was also told about 50ml per person.

35-50ml I use about 40ml as I spray then do a misting over. Dont forget if your gun is set to high yes you will be losing money but also the tan may not come out how it should, drips, dodgy hands feet etc hth lots of threads on this already on how to test your gun xx

Yeah i was trained with nouvatan 50 ml is recommended but when i 1st started i was using 60-70ml lol...wasting lots but turning my gun down really helped now im 50ml a spray tan xx

been tanning for approx 6 yrs and use at most 50 ml with hvlp, turn it down and spray closer if u use more xx

lol basically when you turn the gun down to do hands & feet go over the back front & sides again it pretty much just means very lightly & and should make sure u have not missed any bits some folks dont do this but I do never had any problems or complaints so far....(cross fingers & touch hairy wood lol) xx

I use 30ml on average per tan, and I spray twice! I personally think 50ml is too much - Jmo..

I do exactly same,,full body, them mist over, I usually adjust gun, turn down a little for arms hands and feet ,,, I use between 40 50 max xx

hey everyone
thanks for all the info on useage, esp turning the gun down and going over hands and feet etc and misting. I turned my gun down today and applied it closer to the body, much better.

Once you have perfected your technique and are spraying quick and close to the body you will use about 30mls per body.
