How did you all settle on your skin care routine? Did you try several products before settling on the ones you now use? Did you have a consultation?
Am wanting a brand new skin care routine and am interested to know how to go about it

I always like to try before I buy especially when spending a fair bit of money. The last thing you want to do is fork out sixty odd pounds on a set which you learn to hate. Try mini facials at salons that retail their brands and ask for a few samples to try at home. Or go to the counters in Debenhams/ Boots etc and spend some time with one of the ladies on them, they'll always offer you samples. That way you can use them for a few days at home and see what agrees with your skin best.

Always have a consultation and a skin analysis as the person selling the product should be trained in it and can tell you what is best for yourself. You should both be asking each other questions not just one way.

:D

Try everything first! Talk to the experts from the brands and see if you like the sound of any. Tell them what your looking for out of your skin care routine.
Don't let them just tell you what you want to hear, and you should be allowed to sample everything with no obligation to buy.
You will also need to give the products a few weeks to work when you do finally commit. Even if you like them straight away after a more prolonged use (say 6weeks...) You begin to see the pro's and con's of the range you've chosen.
