i'm trying to figure out how to do my friends nails with some pop its ive done mine but i just did natural and painted over them.

she wants white tips or black tips cos didnt have any white tips left.

i know it can be a lot easier with pop its to sculpt but u need to measure where ur tip is going to start on the pop it if that makes sense should i apply a nail guide to the otherside lol.. i dunoo

any tips would be great..x

p.s i did two nails with pop its they were really smooth and was v. happy then i did another one and it was rly shiney.. the other 2 were quite dull is this due to how long u leave it on for etc.

All you need to do is look at the form (pop it) they have letters and numbers running down the centre of them,
place the form onto the nail and look at which number the centre of the smile line needs to be at,
then place your white/black product into the form and create your smile line and free edge with out going up above this number,
let it dry,
then place your clear product into the form and apply to the nail in the usual way.

If you have used a form for more than 3 times this can reduce the amount of shine produced or if you have removed it too soon,
do all 5 fingers before removing the first one,
they need about 4 to 5 mins to fully set up,
if you tap the centre of the form while it is on the finger with your brush handle you will be able to tell,
it sounds dull if not set but you get a sharp tapping sound when it is set,
hth

What are pop its??

Dull Popits can be from removing them too quickly.

For black or white tips, just use black or white tips under them.....
otherwise shape the colored free edge and let them set for at least 45 secs, then use clear or pink to apply to the nailbed.

i can't do all of 5 then take them off cos i have to hold them on otherwise all the product pushes the pop it up and it all looks dodgy when i take it off.
i've given up with nail extensions for now anyway

lol i mean do one at a time as usual but dont take the popit off until you have finished five,
dont give up hun, keep at the practise or you will forget vital elements of the training you have already had,

the offer is still there if you ever want to pop over to my salon and watch me do a set (with the brush lol)

but i would be willing to show you popits too
