The thing is to keep trying and it will definitely all fall into place.
The metal frame work has an uncanny ability to develop a memory so to speak...once you have successfully folded the tent back into its flat pack state a few times the frame work will naturally tend to fold itself back down how its done so before making the ongoing task much quicker.
