Hi Can You Tell Me What You Use For Sterilising/sanitising When Doing Mani/pedi And Nail Extensions When You Are Mobile.

I use Mundo's gel hand sanitiser and Mundo's hard surface disinfectant.

as mentioned hand gel and hard surface cleaner also if you sanitise your tools before hand then keep them in a plastic case till you need them

I use a gel hand wash then NSI Sanitize for hands and for feet i use the Skin Truth pedicure range and they have a sani spray in the kit. I use Salon Systems Nail & File Antiseptic spray for files and i also carry around a small bottle of surgical spirit which i pop my nippers & metal tools into.

A few years ago I worked mobile, and I used to keep a container for disinfected implements, and a container for used implements that I disinfected when I got home.
I also brought along a spray bottle with a hospital grade disinfectant and cleaned any surface that I was working on.

I use the Mundo Hard Surface Disinfectant Wipes for my metal tools - perfect for mobile.......

Hi where are u doing your training, as it doesn't say in your in profile, as you should have covered that in your training. I did in my first two weeks, i use chlori-spray hardsurface disinfection and barbicide for my implements. I am mobile to or will be soon.

IBD Nail Prep is great as you can use it on nearly everything(your hands ,clients hands, nail files , tools etc...)

I think all metal implements should be soaked for at least 15 mins in barbicide if they are to be used on another client even if you are mobile. When you have nipped and clipped pop them in a glass tumbler and drain before leaving the clients home.

I honestly feel wipes and sprays are not sufficient at removing deadly HIV and the quality of the cleaning is dependent on how thoroughly they are wiped etc. If you miss abit by accident do you really want to be the cause of infection?

sprays are good for files etc but I would never used implements on clients if I hadnt soaked them first.

Mundo's Disinfectant Wipes are effective against fungi, viruses and bacteria including MRSA, E-Coli and C-Diff as well as a diverse range of micr organisms. As I don't nip clients living tissue my tools aren't in contact with blood so that is effective enough for me....... Also, I do wipe thoroughly!

I never get blood or tissue fluid on my equipment doing manicures or pedicures! Plus what Vetty explained x

Mundo's products are medical grade. They cover every sanitising scenario.

Barbacide only keeps implements clean that have already been cleaned and sterilised. You need a stronger product than barbacide to completely sanitise.

I soak all my pedi stuff/metal tools with their sterilising solution and swish it around my pedi spa before I use it. Luckily I don't do any more than 1 pedi a day.

I use the nail file spray. The hand gel or hand and foot spray. Cleansing wipes I actually use pretty much everyone of their products.
