I am proud of my City

Before you read this I have to say I am not a political animal and I dont want to get into the rights and wrongs of war. But I just had to say a few words on this subject.
I have just watched a report on the local news of the Troops returning from Iraq to Leicester
They are marching through the town and they have had an amazing homecoming from the 1000's of people that have turned out.
Leicester is a very multi-cultural city, and everyone has joined in to welcome our boys home.
After all the protests the other week. I can honestly say I am proud of my City x

I agree. We may not be in favor of the war but these men and women are risking their lives every day they are in Iraq/Afghanistan or wherever they are stationed. They DESERVE to be honored for what they do to keep us safe.
