Hi my lovelies!

I did my Brisa conversion Monday, and had my first Brisa client yesterday. As I got to completing the set, I suddenly realised I'd forgot to use the Liquid Bond:rolleyes:. I explained this to her as I thought it best to be honest. I finished the nails as I'd just about finished, and said to keep an eye on them and if they lift to let me know and I'd sort them out for free as it was my fault.

She texted me this morning, they have indeed started to lift. I will be seeing her Tuesday, so I'll have a look at them and see how bad they are then and arranging an appointment to repair them, but would like some advice on the best action to take.

As Brisa is buff off not soak off, obviously I can't remove them completely and start again. Would it be ok to file them as thin as poss, removing all the lifting product, then apply the Liquid Bond and start again? That's the only thing I think I can do unless they actually fall off before I repair them!

Really annoyed 'cos I thought they were a fab set of nails, and she was really pleased with them too:irked:

I did this too with a set of Brisa toes when I had just trained - I never confessed and they lasted for 8 weeks until I redid them.

If they are lifting badly you should buff them off completely and start from scratch, not what you wanted to hear but really the only answer I think xxx

Hi, I too have done this, then when i was finished i thought, "oh bugger" but then mine lasted quiet some time....

I would buff back to nothing, and start again. I know that is a pain, but you know at least you were honest. good on you.:)

That has happened to me too, twice. First time the nails lasted ok, but the second time there were lifting already the day after. I personally believe that I filed too much and made the nails too thick the second time.

I would just remove all the lifting product and start from the beginning. I would like to hear if anyone has any better idea! Because I am sure I'm going to forget Brisa bond in the future too... I just can't remember everything! ;)

Thanks for the replies. As they are already lifting I reckon they won't last too long, I'll have a good look Tuesday and see how bad they are. The client is actually a trained nail tech so knows all the things to do to look after them so I'm sure that the lifting is caused by my "little" mistake:eek::green:

BTW, just have to say, OMG I luuurrrve Brisa, the nails really are beautiful with this product!!

I did it tooo but only on my own... they lasted quite well but they came off with a little tiny help (sshhh) and all in one piece....

Shall not do that again x

This happened to me, too. I didn't say a word (she was my guinea pig, anyway...didn't pay for them) and they started lifting right away. I was so bummed.

I, too would just buff off and start again.

Best of luck to you! :)

Mine have been on for 3 weeks now without liquid bond (as I forgot too) and lasting pretty well, so it might be that you can get away with it sometimes xx

See your not alone, many of us have done the same. I forgot to liquid bond one foot and the glitter gels lifted on that foot in days and the other foot lasted for weeks. In case you are wondering I did redo the gel-less foot straight away.
