I need a uniform without buttons

Ideally a tunic and trousers.

Now try not to laugh - I know you will -but I have a serious phobia about buttons and I cannot own anything with them - never have done and have got through the last 36 years successfully without them. Wish it wasn't that serious but it is!

So I need to find a tunic and trousers without buttons on - anyone recommend any online shops that have such things? The uniforms I've seen all have buttons! :irked:

My daughter has one without buttons...

Now I know it has something to do with Inline...London...something along those lines...

I am totally useless at remembering names....could be something totally different....

Damn remembered...her pants have a button on...

I have a tunic without buttons but the trousers do, but the Tunics are sooo cheap in price you can afford to shop around and pay a little bit more for trousers with no buttons! Its so funny i have 2 fiends with the same phobia they cant even say the word without cringing!! they say its the 'squeek' or texture... i dont know i think ill stick to my 'spinder' one at least people understand that one!

I can't say the word, I have to say B's, typing its ok. Wish I didn't have it as it can be dibilitating at times! When my husband first met me and I told him he thought it was nothing much until he came at me with one and I started hyperventilating, crying and vomited!

How about a tunic or dress that has a zip ... failing that, a tabard with velcro fastenings.

Yes tunic with a zip - think finding my uniform will be a nightmare, well one thats just right anyway - no buttons and extra long length trousers - I am 6 foot!

I picked a new one up the other day from alan howards - its daisy chain and i think its called mimosa. it has a zip at the back and its pretty stretchy. I'm very pleased with it actually not had that brand before! Hope you find something! xx

Ooh and P.S. the trousers had an elasticated waist - definitely no B words at all! x

both zip up the front.

I'd try places like Dorothy Perkins, M&S and maybe even Asda for trousers without "B's" you're bound to find some somewhere!!

La Beeby are great uniforms, very well made.

My tunic is called Babette, it has a zip up the back, no b's, and the trousers are cropped and have a zip up the side, no b's xx

We're using La Beeby as our college suppliers and they do loads without b's. My trousers are the basic black ones with a side zip (they have a Chinese writing design at the bottom on one leg which is a nice touch) and the tunic we have ordered for next year has no b's but a cool diagonal zip on the front. Most of their tunics have zips up the back actually. The rep came into college a couple of weeks ago with loads of samples so we could pick our uniform for next year and they all seem fairly good quality. Nice and stretchy - always important after lunch!

we've a local wholesaler think its called greenfields, (will check old reciepts in a mo) and they do loads of tunice without buttons, they have zipped ones and just pop ve rhead ones (they are stretchy) they look lovely on and their trousers are just a side zip or drawstring cropped ones

and most tunics are less than £25 trousers are around £20, they have white, black, chocolate and cream etc, will see if they have a website for you hun xxx

right had a look, its called Corporate Workwear And Uniforms, High Quality Garments, Uniform And Staff Wear, Liverpool, UK.

but at the mo on the website they only have one without buttonw, its on second page and its shown in cream, its one ive got and its got a zip up the back, ive got it in black and white and they are £17 , ive got the pants too, and i have to take them up by 4 inches cos they are 32" long so maybe they'd be ok for you hun? if not you could let the hem down and re hem maybe?

I have this one too but in the black.

Being 5ft10, i've never found anywhere that does long length trousers (without having to special order and pay over-the-top prices for a few extra inches on the leg length) i just get mine from topshop or newlook.

But if you do find somewhere, i'd love to know about it :hug:
