Someone I know is having a stall at at a secondary school Fashion Show on Friday evening and has offered to have some of my flyers on her table . . . really sweet of her to think of me. Lots of the girls who will be going to the Prom in a few months will be there and other folk will be offering special Prom discounts and packages and I understand there are no other nail people there. The problem is I don't have any flyers, so that gives me a short time to knock something up. I'm reasonable on the PC and something nice-looking that I produce from it, including photos etc of my work, will probably suffice. The trouble is my brain is dead! I can't seem to come up with any layout ideas or anything, and I'm starting to think it would almost be better not to have any flyers at all rather than have crappy ones. Can anyone help? Any ideas/suggestions soooo welcome xxxxx

I would say keep it simple maybe you could have a small photo album on the table with some pics in of your past work? Or perhaps a couple of pics in nice frames with the flyers in front. Possibly have a special price for booking on the day or within 24 hours of the fair.

Try to keep it elegant and colourful but not old fashioned as you are aiming at teenagers.

Good luck.

I'd keep it simple - have your visual identity (logo, name etc.) and maybe a headline with a few bullets. I've got some postcards coming from Vistaprint that read:

livepreview.aspx

Maybe do something along these lines.....??

Just to add, having done these, when they book get a deposit other wise you will clear your day and risk none of them turning up and most of them might not even bother to phone and tell you.
Have a good look at whats popular, nail art wise, and offer the same art in colours to match the prom dress free with a full set of nails
or free toe nail polish with a full set when finger nail art is booked.
As said keep it simple, they are teenagers, they all want to be different but will book the same:rolleyes: and the more choice you give them the more likely they are to walk away because they cant make up their minds what they want.
Do you do nail biters? if yes then I would defio have a before and after pick of a nail biter.

If you're aiming it at the teenage girls with the prom in mind then you have to make them think of the prom.

The only thing I can think of is a crosage on a wrist with a fab set of nails as your background piccie and then put your text over the top.
Something along the lines of:

Do you want to be the bell of the ball?
Then list services you would do dont forget to mention a bespoke nail art service that can be designed round their outfit.

If you speak to your local florist they might make you a free corsage if you put some leaflets of theirs out as well hun xxx

Wow thanks so much for all your ideas! I shall have to get my thinking cap on pretty smartish, thanks again!
