So are they just like your normal end of year exam for each subject or do they determine whether you can get into Uni or not?

Here we have the core skills test which gives an OP (overall position) score which determines whether you can get into the Uni course you want. An OP1 is the highest. However, depending on what subjects you choose during yr 11,12 - some people are not eligable to sit the test (weird I know). I was one of them and was automatically enrolled in Uni to do a Bachelor of Arts which I declined.

at 14 I was a dishwasher after school at the local bakery.
when 15 I was the milk delivery girl lol.
Left school and started work in the bank doing Data Entry.
Became a mum and did odd jobs from home like stuffing envelopes, boring, lol. Also worked in a greenhouse.
Data Entry in a different bank.
Started my training as a nail tech. Got made redundant from the bank.
Started at a Nails only Salon.
Burnt out and left nails behind.
Work in an office in accounts and general dogs body.
After a couple of yrs of that found my passion for nails again, decided to do some refresher courses etc to start my own salon from home.

My god I waffle. Sorry.

I started working the day after i left school.

Receptionist - 2001-2002
Civil Servant - 2002-2007
Mobile Beauty - 2006
Tantrick Trainer - 2007

Qualifications...

Not Many!! Struggled all the way through school as i am dyslexic, got a few C's. few D's, B & A.
CND Foundation
Tantrick Spray Tan Training
Waxing course

I wish i done beauty from leaving school, but to be honest if i didn't start working straight away i wouldn't have my own house or a nice car. Also i would have ended up going to collage to do beauty with all the goons (in my year at school, all the girls that didn't do well at school done beauty) and i would have a drug addiction by now not a qualification...

Oh... i have a NVQ level 3 Biz & Administration!
