Its amazing how many different jobs people have squeezed into their lives. Mine mostly seem to of been glamours :)jobs to fit around kids and husband, or when I was still at school/college.

seems like quite alot for my 27 years, i am also pa to a dj and mum to a seven year old little girl

Wasnt it the easiest course ever on earth, but what doors is it meant to open for you?? Eastenders havent been banging down my door????
I did make alot of good mates on the course though, 1 positive and it was a hell of a laugh!!
 
yes it was easy, but as i am so naturally talented of course it would be easy to me LOL 2 years of laughs, the most fun ever, and we did some cracking productions! all in all bloody good fun!

an no, i dont hear eastenders knocking at my door either - however i can cry on cue, which has proved a very useful skil lolol :)

So are they just like your normal end of year exam for each subject or do they determine whether you can get into Uni or not?

Here we have the core skills test which gives an OP (overall position) score which determines whether you can get into the Uni course you want. An OP1 is the highest. However, depending on what subjects you choose during yr 11,12 - some people are not eligable to sit the test (weird I know). I was one of them and was automatically enrolled in Uni to do a Bachelor of Arts which I declined.
 
GCSE's are what you take before you finish high school.
You can then take A levels before you go to Uni.

Now, present day:
run 2 therapy rooms
still do a little teaching
and very very happy :green:
 
I forgot to add that the best jobs I have ever had are the ones I have now and that is being a Mum and of course a Nail Technician!

at 14 I was a dishwasher after school at the local bakery.
when 15 I was the milk delivery girl lol.
Left school and started work in the bank doing Data Entry.
Became a mum and did odd jobs from home like stuffing envelopes, boring, lol. Also worked in a greenhouse.
Data Entry in a different bank.
Started my training as a nail tech. Got made redundant from the bank.
Started at a Nails only Salon.
Burnt out and left nails behind.
Work in an office in accounts and general dogs body.
After a couple of yrs of that found my passion for nails again, decided to do some refresher courses etc to start my own salon from home.

My god I waffle. Sorry.

Also i would have ended up going to collage to do beauty with all the goons (in my year at school, all the girls that didn't do well at school done beauty) and i would have a drug addiction by now not a qualification...

Oh... i have a NVQ level 3 Biz & Administration!
