Hi im so frustrated as i cant get the grip with acrylics at all. My beeds are too wet iv tried allsorts with the brush and its just wet thru so to speak.
Iv done the acrylic conversion course with CND and it went ok on the day but now its all gone to pot!
Any advice would be great do you think my brush could be too big for me thats why im holding too much liquid or is it just me thats CRAP?

Im ready to launch it lol xx:hug:

Thanks Sandi ill take a look again, i have read it before but still cant seem to get it right. How come i got it at the course but not now im definatly doing something wrong. My liquid has gone cloudy aswell so theres product left on my brush aswell. Thanks x

I've just posted a thread about having a similar problem! Will be keeping an eye on your replies!

Ok, before you start picking up any beads, take your brush and submerge it in the monomer, then while it is in the monomer rock it gently back and forward to get rid of air bubbles and this will also saturate all the hairs.

Then with an even pressure wipe the brush on the side of the dappen dish then turn your brush over and do the same on the other side. You then pick up your bead of powder.

The bigger bead you want the less you wipe your brush on the side of the dappen dish, the smaller the bead the more you wipe on the side of the dappen dish.

Make sure that powder has absorbed all the liquid, then place your bead, and wait for a count of 3 before working it.

Remember when you are working your bead to gently press and guide it, as if you are stabbing at it etc, this is when product is likely to get stuck in your brush.

hth :)

Do it on both and that will even out the liquid on your brush, which in turn leads to a smoother application and you are less likely to saturate the bead when it is on the nail, by having more monomer on one side of your brush. This might be where you are going wrong hun.

I hope I explained that ok.
