Hi.
Im a newbee who trained with Essential. I only passed a few weeks ago...
Ive recently ordered some IBD Soak Off Gels to try.

My question is do you need to apply a bonder or primer before applying the gels? Some sites ive looked on say yes definitly while others say only if its needed or a problem nail. I didnt have to with the Essential gel so its got me confused...

Im wanting to have a White French tip on natural nail (no extension is needed)..
Do i need to apply a clear gel layer before the french white tip?
Do i apply clear first then white tip then clear again?
Or just white first then clear?

Thank you very very much

ibd do actually teach that you can do either, bonder or no bonder but I always use the bonder and I have no problems.

You can apply the white then build with the clear.

You can put a very thin layer of white and cure for 30 seconds and then another layer of white and cure for 3 mins. all the soak off gels need 3 mins. you can just do the 3 mins with a thicker layer tho.

They do some fab colours. after having a go with your test and you like it I suggest you go on a day course with ibd. I did the day nail art class it was very good. They will teach you about the gel as well as gel art.

Thankyou Debbie for your advice thats cleared it up nicely for me... :)
