Hi Geeks,
First- I just want so say that I am very glad that I've found this website and a very friendly professional community:hug:.
Second- I would like some advice please.
I am going to take a room in a hairdressing salon for beauty treatments, and I have a Guinot and Murad salons very close by, I would like some advice about products range. They are so many good ranges of products but it is difficult to take the decision on my own. I have been thinking about Environ, Mary Cohr, or Pevonia. As we know it is a huge investment and I would appreciate your honest advice.
Many thanks.
Pat

Mary Cohr all the way in my opinion.....the catio vital treatments are superb....and combined with the lift....really good.

The other option i would suggest if you like machine based facials and get great results,is Carita....although you have to have more than one treatment room to stock it.

Have you tried Mary Cohr....if you have and liked the results you get from it go with your gut instinct....

Thank for your reply. I'll love carita but it will be my next product range, if things work out!!. I'll find Mary Cohr's salon to try it facial. Thanks again.

Mine would be Yonka, without a doubt.

Pevonia won't supply you unless you have a minimum of two treatment rooms (unless they have changed things)

I have never used Environ so can't comment on that, I like Mary Cohr but would say you definetley need the machine for the most effective facial, I had a MC facial without the machine and there was no difference in my skin at all, didn't feel like id just had a facial ! That said I do like the products.

Really it needs to be a range that you love, which ranges have you worked and trained in before ? You won't get a feel from a range with a couple of samples you need to have experience with it before you invest thousands.

If money was no object for me then as well as Dermalogica I would either have Decleor or Matis as they are my other two favourite ranges.

I would keep Nimue ( great result), but will also offer La Prairie!

Thanks Geeks,
I have trained in guinot (it will be my fist choice but I can't), pevonia (their range have a fantastic high performance treatments 100% active, but I need at least 2 rooms), dermalogica ( I like it but I am not sure if it will suit very mature clients). About Mary Cohr one of my friends suggested me , basically because it is guinot's twin sister company, this is why I would like some feedback, and because "money is an issue for me" I just need to make it right.
Thanks

I'd stick with SwissDermyl - brilliant products which actually do work!

hi matis is fantastic, brilliant for anti ageing, i dont think there is a big opening order, defo try it out they do a facial called phyco corail which sets like rubber and wgen you remove it you can show the client if they are dry, dehydrated or oily, its fab

I am in the USA and I have used Pevonia for 13 year's. I only have 1 facial room. I know other salon's that only have one facial room. I don't understand why that would be different where you are. I love my products and use only Pevonia.

When choosing my skincare range I never allowed money to be an issue. I was prepared to choose a range that met all of the criteria I was looking for in a skincare range as I am a firm believer in the maxim "buy cheap, pay twice". For that reason I went for Decleor, it met all my requirements & although expensive it has repaid that investment many times over & has catapulted my facial take-up & retail sales into the stratosphere!

I'd also like to say how refreshing it is to see a thread about skincare that isn't just about getting the cheapest skincare range possible in order to 'muddle through'!
