Hi all
Please can you tell me if you have used these treatments, either professionally or personally, and if so, what your opinions of them are?
Here's a link to their website:
ila and ila-spa limited, natural organic skincare products and spa treatments from the Cotswolds
I really like the look of these products, and they seem not to appear on eBay etc, unlike some of the other bodycare brands!
If you prefer not to discuss your products I do understand.
Many thanks
lynne

had never heard off them before but checked there website, there treatments sound gorgeous, have emailed them now to check price etc, would also be interested in knowing if anyone is currently using these products

We do Ila at Grayshott, however i am not trained in it,as i do mainly Decleor,Thalgo and Guinot treatments.

What i do know is that most of the products are completely 100% natural, and harvested organically.Denise is the owner, and she frequently comes to Grayshott to train in the facial and body treatments. It is only available in Spas at the moment,at around 12 or so throughout the UK.

The treatments are divine, extremely holistic, and include himalayan salt scrubs with unique poultice massages, and lymphatic drainage.

We have an Ila specialist at Grayshott so i will endeavour to get more information...i remember Kim going to the product development site and even helping them make up the products...she found it very worthwhile!

I know this is a brand to go for if you have an holistic approach to beauty...

I've had a good long chat with their product director who is coming out to see me on Friday. It looks a fabulous range, and I like the fact that they have an aggressive eBay policy. It won't ever be found on QVC or eBay!
It transpires that, like me, Denise is an RGN and an aromatherapist!
I'm very excited about it all. Will report back on Friday.
:)

Good luck with it all...it really is a fabulous range, and has taken Grayshott by storm...the Ila rainforest facial and english glow facials are lovely and the different massgaes are very soporific...clients walk out feeling very sleepy...the kundalini massgae oil is very hedonistic:)

Oh please do calla very interesting they sound lovely. Doe anyone know how much any of the products are? WOuld they supply to us home salon though?

I have a home salon and they said that wasn't a problem, what they're looking for is a high standard of care.
I'm very nervous about it - will they take me on? I shall be gutted if they turn me down!

the products sound gorgeous, do they have minimum order policy, do you know

they told me that no, there's no minimum order policy. If anyone has any questions they'd like me to put to them on Friday just shout!

thanks that sounds great

Could you ask them calla if they do training? oh that sounds fab if they do supply to home salon. I wonder do they do a sample pack to try the products and a info pack to rread more. Thanks for the help calla.

It looks fabulous but looking at retail prices I have a feeling is an expensive range.
Good luck on Fri!
xx

Rock Chic - yes they do extensive training at their offices in Kiddington.
I agree that they look expensive, but I'm finding that people are happy to spend the money as long as the products work. I live in an affluent area, but I appreciate that not everyone does and you have to find products that work for your demographic.

I can't quite believe it! I am now an authorised stockist of Ila products! Their product director left me some samples - oh.my.goodness - how fantastic are their products.
Just going to get the training sorted and then it's all systems go!
:)

thats great, are you using there facial range as well as swiss dermyl now or just there body range,

Just the body range for now, but I plan to offer their facial range in time as a more holistic treatment than SwissDermyl. I can't see me ever not using SwissDermyl as it is so good!

well done calla and good luck with treatments hope they go well/ Is there a minium start up? what sort of prices are they products. glad it went well for you.

Well, having placed my first retail products order with them, (and having paid for it!) they've decided that I don't "meet their criteria" and have turned me down for spa treatments.

Does this mean you can only retail the products?

was there a minimum order value and did you have to buy certain products?

Well, the man who came to see me told me a figure for the minimum order value. This man told me he was the "global product director"; his business card said he was Business Development Manager. He later told me that he had been mistaken and the startup order was actually FIVE times the figure he quoted me, and that I had to buy six units of every line they produced.
He also told me that the Spa Treatments management team had looked at my company profile (I'm not sure how, or when, but nobody contacted me!) and had decided that I didn't "meet their criteria" in order to carry out the Spa Treatments. He was rather vague as to what those criteria actually were - he mentioned it was a points based system, but was very evasive about the details.
He said I could, if I wanted, retail the products, on the proviso that I paid this enormous startup order amount. I told him that I wasn't well disposed to promote a company which had arbitrarily decided that I wasn't allowed to use their products in the salon.
I was bewildered, angry, disappointed, hurt.
