I'm either really weak or really stupid

My minx kit arrived yesterday and im finally getting to play with it now. Only problem is that i cant getthe safety guard off to put the bulb in. How do you do it it just says pull it but it isnt budging. Any tips on doing this? x

The prongs go into holes .. pull and squeeze the guard and it will spring out .. you also have to push and squeeze it to get it back IN. Don't be timid .. you can see what has to be done.
