I'm flabbergasted, how?

How are these beautiful ashes achieved? I know this salon uses Wella too. I've tried and tried. I'll hit and miss. Help!

Redken shades eq has heaps of beautiful tones

Second the Redken vote. However, remember that highlights are dependant on the colour sitting next to them for their overall look. The actual highlights in the second pic are fairly golden, but are sitting next to a medium ash blonde, hence the lovely effect.
If you turned those highlights white or that horrible grey ash so beloved on here, you would get an overall muddy colour.

So in creating an illusion I need to low light. I understand now. What are your favorite colors in shades eq? I've used the gloss not the cream.

i love 8/71 CT as a toner. would usually use on it level 9/10 blondes and its just lovely and soft without glowing white
