My son who is 18 in September has been on a couple of training schemes since he left school as he doesn't just want to take any job he wants to train in something.
He's been with a firm for a few months now and has been getting up at 6 every morning and not getting back in till after 5 and not getting a penny for it, he gets £30 a week EMA.
They told him last month that there would be a job for him on 3 august, at last he thought all those unpaid months had paid off.
They have just announced this morning that everyone is getting laid off.
He's now back to square one.
I feel so sorry for him, he has dyspraxia so school wasn't easy for him and I was so pleased when he seemed settled on this scheme and the promise of a job.
There rant over, just had to share with someone.
