Hello!

In these first six months, we've been concentrating on marketing the business and getting new/repeat clients, but now I'd like to push the retail side. So far we've sold very little.

We are now stocking Eve Taylor (alongside our MDA treatments). We've sold approx one per week. In the past we've tried gift packs for mother's day etc, but to no avail! Unfortunatly we are in a windowless room within a gym, so we need to focus on selling to our clients as opposed to passing trade. Is there training available on sales, or any tips you'd like to share?

Thank you! :)

You have to educate the client as to why they need it! Learn your products inside and out, ensure you know your client and the type of products they need or buy. ( there's no point in selling someone a complex cleasing routine if they have told you the don't get 5mins to themselves, they need something simple !!

Don't be scared to sell! A lot of therapists are scared of looking Like a pushy sales person, but you have to set I'm your mind that the customer is after professional advice, if they don't get it from you they will only go else where!

For our make up we offer a complimentary 5 min make over with every treatment! That client thinks they are getting a freebie and then Fall in love with our make up!!

There are books on how to sell effectively. Worth a read
